All praises are due to Allah, the most High, the Great.
We hope this message finds you and your family in the best of health. Please be advised that, upon approval from the Government of Ontario, Masjid-e-Ayesha will reopen for the general public on Friday, June 12, 2020 from Fajr Salah inshā’Allah. While we are excited to reopen and welcome you back to the Masjid, it is extremely important that we all follow the guidelines set forth below in order to ensure a smooth and safe reopening experience for everyone.
Masjid-e-Ayesha is committed to maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and sanitization practices in accordance with guidelines recommend by the government and medical professionals. We pledge to increase the frequency with which we clean all hard surface floors and high touch surfaces, using the most effective methods. For everyone’s safety, at this time we have limited the area of the building accessible to the public to just the main prayer areas. We kindly ask that you follow the signage posted at the Masjid for entry and exit protocols.
Due to the limit imposed by the health authorities, only 150 individuals will be permitted to attend Jumu’ah salāh. Please visit our registration page to secure a spot. We will stop accepting registrations once we have reached our limit. Please also note that registration is NOT a guarantee that a spot will be available, if unforeseen circumstances occur.
Masjid doors will open 20 minutes before the adhān on Friday and will close once we have reached capacity. We will admit only those individuals who have registered. Please do not cause unnecessary difficulty by showing up without registering.
1st Jumu’ah: 1:30 PM
2nd Jumu’ah: 2:15 PM
3rd Jumu’ah: 3:00 PM
We appreciate your cooperation during our gradual reopening. May Allah accept our worship and forgive our shortcomings.
Though the Masjid is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the operating expenses (maintenance, utilities, wages etc.) are still there and we need our community’s support.
Please click here to donate via PayPal, and provide your address so that a donation receipt can be mailed to you.
If you wish to donate in person, please visit the Masjid between 1 PM and 6 PM and use the donation boxes only. The Masjid is closed outside of these hours and we ask that, if you donate in person, do not remain for any reason after donating. All government laws and social distancing rules are to be respected at all times.
Due to the current state of emergency in the Province of Ontario, Masjid-e-Ayesha is closed completely until further notice. We pray that Allah Almighty grant us quick reprieve from these circumstances. Please continue to check this website regularly for updates.
